Mortar Injection Pump

A mortar injection pump is a specialized piece of equipment used for injecting mortar into cavities, cracks, joints, and voids in various construction and repair applications. These pumps are essential for tasks such as structural strengthening, waterproofing, and masonry restoration, ensuring that mortar is delivered precisely and efficiently to the required locations. The operation of the mortar spraying machine is very simple. It is easy to move and can be sprayed freely. The use of a mortar sprayer not only shortens the construction period, but also saves other costs.

Working Principle

Material Preparation:

The mortar or grout is mixed to the desired consistency, ensuring it is free of lumps or impurities that could block the pump.

Feeding the Pump:

The material is loaded into the hopper or directly into the pump.

Injection:

Using a piston, diaphragm, or screw mechanism, the pump forces the material into hoses or pipes leading to the injection point.

High pressure ensures the material fills all voids, cracks, or joints.

Monitoring and Control:

Operators monitor the flow and adjust the pressure as needed to prevent over-pressurization or leakage.

Applications of Mortar Injection Pumps

Structural Repair:

Injecting grout into cracks in concrete walls, floors, or beams to restore structural integrity.

Sealing cracks in bridges, dams, and tunnels.

Void Filling:

Filling voids in masonry or concrete structures.

Stabilizing foundations or filling gaps under slabs.

Waterproofing:

Injecting waterproofing materials into joints, cracks, or porous surfaces.

Used in basements, retaining walls, and underground structures.

Masonry Grouting:

Strengthening old or deteriorated masonry walls by injecting grout into voids between bricks or stones.

Soil Stabilization:

Injecting grout into soil to stabilize and reinforce weak ground.

Commonly used in slope protection and tunnel excavation.

Sealing Leaks:

Stopping water ingress in water tanks, reservoirs, or underground tunnels.

Sealing leaks in retaining walls and dams.
