Spray Test
The actual shotcrete spraying is the most critical part of the testing:
Spray Consistency: Observe the shotcrete output for evenness in coverage. The mix should be applied uniformly to the substrate.
Nozzle and Hose: Make sure the nozzle is functioning correctly and the hose doesn't have any kinks, which could affect the flow of the wet shotcrete.
Thickness and Bonding: Ensure that the shotcrete adheres properly to the substrate and forms a consistent thickness. You may want to use test patches or markers to check for proper coverage.
Mix Performance: Ensure the mix is not segregating or clogging in the hose. If this happens, it may indicate a mix issue, a clog in the machine, or an air pressure problem.
