High Pressure Concrete Pump
Our high-pressure concrete pump is a specialized machine designed for transporting and placing concrete at high pressures, often used in large-scale construction projects such as high-rise buildings, bridges, tunnels, and infrastructure. These pumps are engineered to handle the challenges of pumping concrete over long distances or to great heights, where standard concrete pumps might not be effective.
Key Features of a High-Pressure Concrete Pump:
1. High Pressure Pumping System:
Hydraulic Power: High-pressure concrete pumps typically use a hydraulic piston system that generates the force needed to move concrete at higher pressures, usually measured in bars or MPa (megapascals). This system enables the pump to handle the resistance encountered over long distances or heights.
Pressure Ratings: A high-pressure pump generally operates at pressures ranging from 70 to 150 bars (7,000 to 15,000 kPa), though some advanced models can reach even higher pressures (up to 250 bars or more) to tackle very challenging conditions.
The high pressure allows the pump to overcome friction loss in long hoses or vertical pumping situations, ensuring continuous flow and preventing blockages.
2. Pumping Distance and Height:
High-pressure concrete pumps are capable of pumping concrete vertically up to 200 meters (656 feet) or more, depending on the pump model and the type of concrete mix.
They can also pump concrete horizontally for distances of several hundred meters, making them ideal for projects where concrete needs to be placed in hard-to-reach areas or across large sites.
3. Concrete Mix Compatibility:
Thicker Mixes: High-pressure pumps are designed to handle a wider range of concrete mixes, including high-strength concrete, self-compacting concrete, and shotcrete (sprayed concrete). These mixes are typically thicker and more viscous, requiring more force to push them through the pump and hoses.
Pumping Ability: These pumps are especially useful for mixes with high aggregate content, which may otherwise struggle to flow through a standard pump.
The high-pressure system ensures that even heavy mixes with coarse aggregates or low slump can be efficiently pumped over long distances or heights.
4. Durable and Heavy-Duty Components:
High-pressure pumps are built with reinforced wear-resistant parts, such as hardened steel piston sleeves, durable valves, and high-quality seals, to handle the increased wear and tear caused by high pressure and abrasive concrete mixes.
Heavy-duty hoses and pipes are also designed to withstand the stresses of high-pressure pumping, with thicker walls and superior reinforcement to prevent rupture.
5. Boom and Line Pumping:
High-pressure pumps can be fitted with boom systems for vertical and horizontal placement of concrete or line pumps for more direct, flexible pumping through pipelines.
Boom Pumps: These pumps typically come with a robotic, extendable arm (the boom) that can be positioned at various angles and lengths to reach elevated pour sites.
Line Pumps: These are used when the concrete needs to be pumped over shorter distances or around obstacles, typically using a network of reinforced hoses.
6. Remote Control and Monitoring:
Most modern high-pressure concrete pumps come with advanced electronic control systems and remote controls to allow operators to manage the pumping process from a distance, adjusting speed, pressure, and flow rates.
Pressure sensors and flow meters monitor real-time performance, ensuring that the pump operates within safe parameters and preventing damage to equipment or blockages.

How many Types Saner Company can offer?
Truck-Mounted High-Pressure Concrete Pumps:
These are mounted on a truck chassis for mobility and are equipped with either boom systems (for precise, high-elevation placement) or line pumps (for direct concrete placement).
Truck-mounted pumps are ideal for large construction projects like skyscrapers, industrial plants, and bridges.
Trailer-Mounted High-Pressure Concrete Pumps:
Mounted on trailers, these pumps can be used for smaller to medium-sized projects and are highly portable, making them suitable for tight or remote job sites.
They may be equipped with line pumps or booms depending on the nature of the project.
Stationary High-Pressure Concrete Pumps:
These pumps are fixed in place on large projects such as dams or tunnels, where the pump stays in one location for extended periods and uses long hoses or pipelines to transfer concrete to distant points.
